A perfect analyzing and testing system is reliable guarantee for high-quality products. Weiaode has established a full set of quality control mechanisms. From raw materials into the factory to product delivery to users, our quality control runs through the entire process.
The Weiaode Technology Center has a variety of element analyzer, scanning electron microscopy, multifunctional welding machines, mechanical properties testing instruments…… Right Tools for the Right Jobs. With reliable instruments, advanced techniques, and the spirit of craftsman, we are able to perform and satisfy our users.

"Weiaode" company has testing capabilities as below:

Scanning Electron Microscope:

The high-energy electron beam is used to scan the sample, then clear images are obtained through the interaction between the beam and the matter, and the magnification of thousands to tens of thousands times can be obtained to observe the microscopic features of the alloys. With the help of EDS, the composition of the microscopic structure can be analyzed simultaneously.

Metallographic Microscope:

The metallographic phases of the alloy, such as ferrite, austenite, martensite and different types of carbides, was observed by optical microscope at several hundred times magnification, to study and judge the features and applications of the alloy.

Optical Emission Spectrometer:

Elements in the sample are vaporized by the discharge plasma, qualitatively distinguished according to the wavelength of the unique atomic spectrum of the element, and quantitatively detected according to the luminous intensity. This analysis method can quickly determine the elemental composition of solid metal samples.

Energy Dispersive X-ray Analysis:

The sample is irradiated with X-rays and the energy (wavelength) and intensity of the resulting fluorescent X-rays are measured to determine the type and amount of each element in the sample. This detection method can nondestructively analyze samples in solid and powder form.

Combustion Analysis for Carbon and Sulfur:

The sample is combusted in a high-frequency furnace with high-purity oxygen to promote complete combustion, then the resulting CO2 and SO2 gases pass through infrared (IR) absorption cells. The concentration of unknown samples is determined relative to calibration standards based on the principle that CO2 and SO2 absorb IR energy at unique wavelengths within the IR spectrum.

Hardness Test :

Hardness is most commonly used to evaluate the mechanical properties of metal. "Weiaode" laboratory has the ability to measure the microhardness, Rockwell hardness and Brinell hardness of metals.

G65 Abrasion Test:

Dry sand/rubber wheel abrasion test is according to ASTM G65 standard with a grit of controlled size and composition. The grit is introduced between the test specimen and a rotating wheel and the test duration and force are varied as noted in Procedure A through E. The weight loss/volume loss of the specimen is measured to evaluate the wear resistance of different alloys.
